Stevie Ronnie

Stevie Ronnie is a UK-based interdisciplinary artist and writer whose works have been exhibited across the UK, Europe, Japan, and USA and are held in several public and private collections, including the British Library and Oxford University’s Bodleian Library. To produce engaging encounters with art and writing, he has been in residence in a variety of places and has collaborated with an expansive range of artists, communities, arts organisations, charities, businesses, schools, libraries, galleries and festivals. His moving image works combining poetry and film have screened internationally, attracting several awards.

Three-times long-listed in the National Poetry Competition, he has published five books of poetry, which have earned him a Northern Writers Award and a Jerwood/Arvon menteeship. Stevie is the recipient of two MacDowell fellowships for his interdisciplinary works, and in 2022, he graduated from Turps Art School in London. In 2023, Stevie was also selected for the John Moores Painting Prize exhibition at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool and shortlisted for the Alpine Visual Art Prize.
