Tony is a UK-based artist working primarily in photography, arriving from previous training in painting. Born and educated in northern England, he studied at Manchester Polytechnic (now Manchester Metropolitan University) and Lancaster School of Art (now University of Central Lancashire) between 1979 and 1985. Following postgraduate study (Art and Design Education), he pursued a career in teaching and curriculum leadership, chiefly in the Further Education sector in Manchester and in Sussex, where he now lives. His work has been shown throughout the UK and internationally.
